you can run non-staggered tires on your proposed wheel specs, but 235 is a visible "stretch" on a 9.5"-wide wheel. and if your roads are "rubbish", i wouldn't recommend it.

if you're set on running 235's on 19" wheels, here's the skinny: 235/35-19 + 19x8.5" +38 (f/r).
Thanks for the quick reply.

Thats what I thought , I'll try to find wider tires for the 9.5" , I just wanted to make sure that I can go for the 235 if I dont find wider .

Hi,

I am a new lexus owner from germany since the lexus brand isn't very popular in germany and 99% of the rims suck that are available over here for lexus cars, I have to look some where else for wheels..

after doing some searches, I have fallen in love with the linea corse 818 rims. when i first saw this car:
http://www.canibeat.com/2011/06/stan...0_linea_corse/ , I totally wanted those!

can you tell me if 19x8.5 30mm offset and 19x10” 38mm offset with 225/35/19 F, 245/35/19 R will fit? I want to go as low as the car from canibeat but i do not want to risk any rubbing.

there is another problem, those wheels aren't available in germany. but i saw them on the german ROTA homepage, marked for "coming soon". I hope I can get them next summer...

hey Doc, welcome to the clublexus forums.

those wheel and tire specs should be fine for the stance you're trying to achieve. in case you end up with clearance issues, you can always opt to roll your fenders.

if you're looking to order linea corse wheels, hit up wheeldude.com. i think he's a vendor here and can help get a set to you in bimmer country.

thanks for your reply, but there is a major problem if I buy rims in another country -> they would be illegal in germany. every modifications needs approval bei the german "TÜV".. if the parts don't have the right paperwork, they are not allowed.

ouch... but i suppose that's to conform to the german TUV standards (aka "autobahn-worthiness"). another reason to buy authentic, but i digress.

you can try using bolt pattern adapters (5x114.3 to 5x120) so you can run BMW wheels, though i don't know if you can find a set that are TUV approved. maybe eibach and/or H&R would retail those adapters?

Another noob question about offsets.
lets say 20x10 +20 and 20x10 +23: how far will the wheel come inward going from 20 to 23 offsets
