I'm sorry. I have 225 / 45 / R17 up front and 245 / 45 / R17 at the rear currently.

I want all the 4 tires to be similar and as wide as my rear 245 / 45 / R17's. The thing is I don't want to do any modifications or heating of the inner plastic wheel walls when the 245's go front to avoid rubbing.

If not this setup, is there any other setup that I can use which will not lead to rubbing of the wheels. Also I never turn my wheels fully to a lock. I turn probably just 50-70 % of the turn radius.

Also please advise if I would need to change any of my wheel rims for the rubber that you would suggest which are different from my current stock rubber ?

I'm planning on getting 20x10.5 with 25 offset for rear. Is there any modification to be done? Any rubbing issues?
For front I'm getting 20x9 with 35 offset. Will that make it flush with the front?

hi guys
i've got a set of wheels
F: 19x8.5 +35 and R: 19x9.5 + 45
i was planning to use 235/35 for front and 245/35 for rear.
but im starting to have doubts, thinking should i use 225/35 and 235/35,

i will be lowering my car on coilover (might need to sell my coil and mb move to airbag due to steep driveway)
dont wish to touch the fenders, if need to, hope just to roll and no need to pull.

thanks in adv for your inputs

i honestly don't think you can run 245's up front. 235's, yes, but not 245's.

fender roll + pull + 245/30-20 in the rear. 10.5 +25 is wide and aggressive.

i don't know if those will sit flush in the front.

is this for an AWD or RWD? no need to run that narrow of tires in the rear. you can run 265/30-19 safely. you can probably fit 235/35-19's in the front too.

Hey DNA, its a RWD, so you think 235 /35 in front is okay with out roll?
would 245 35 19 rear be better than 265 30 19? or vice versa?
thanks

hope you understand. best of luck.

1. yes.
2. 245/35-19 is only better than 265/30-19 if you need clearance for aggressive fitment wheels. other than that, i'd run the wider size in the rear.

Then go with conservative sizes and offsets. Rolling will just be barely enough to fit those. Your gonna have rubbing where your liner will be being to rip apart and possibly have your bumper pop out of place. Just saying.

I'll do my best to heat the fender lining out of the way.

Thanks to both!

Quick question if i have two wheels lets say 10" and 11" wide but they have the same offset will they be equal in terms of how much they poke out? In other words that extra inch on the 11" wheel will go on the inside of the wheel?

No.

Simple terms, lets pretend they're both +0 offset. That means the 10" has 5" from hub to outer lip. 11" has 5.5" from hub to outer lip. Good luck with an aggressive 11"!

incorrect.

given two wheels with the same offset, one wheel being wider than the other, the difference in width is equally distributed along the inside and outside of the wheel.

case in point, your example. given two wheels with the same offset, but one 10"-wide and one 11"-wide, the 11"-wide wheel will poke out 1/2" more.
