i'm really considering not answering this question because it's obvious that you haven't taken the time to read through a few pages of this thread.

but the"tl;dr" answer is "no."

Ha my bad, sorry for the dumb question. I've read through but guess I just got a bit excited and was hoping they would. They're my dream rims lol

it's not a dumb question. you just haven't used the search function in this thread, or read through at least a handful of pages to figure out what will require a LOT of work and what won't.

and in case it's not obvious enough, 12"-wide +0 offset = a LOT of work.

Thanks for earlier responses. I have now found a set of wheels and need an update on the fitment.

Completely stock IS250 wants to run 19" Stance SC5 (http://www.getyourwheels.com/view-wh...l/vehicle-2531)

19x8.5 Front 5x114.3 Offset 35
19x9.5 Rear 5x114.3 Offset 35
Doing some searches on the net indicates that the wheels should fit. True?

Do not want any rubbing at all. I am not interested in rolling any fenders whatsoever. I do alot of u-turns and really want a set of wheels that fits well.
So question now is what set of tires will I need? I want to run Continental ContiSportContact 5P
And they are available in the following size as can be viewed in the picture below:
Will those wheels fit? START HERE.-xykwy.png

Also how much do you think should be possible to drop the car with those wheels fitted without any mods?

I have 19X8.5 +35 front 19X9.5+36 rear (almost similar to your setup)

I run 235/35/19 front 255/35/19 rear

Dropped around 1 inch on spring.

Front rub very very very slightly. Heat gun and pushed the front liner in just a few millimeters and the rubbing is all gone no matter how hard I drive or turn the car.

If you don't want to heat gun, then you should go 225/35/19 on the front. Should clear without any modification. I didn't choose 225 on the front because with 8.5" width, the ideal tire should be 235/35/19. Also 225/35/19 is too skinny sidewall to me.

On the rear you can choose either 255/35/19 or 265/30/19. Dilemma is, with 265/30/19 it is the right fitment for the 9.5" wheel but the overall diameter will be 3% less than stock. While 255/35/19 is the closest to factory 18" wheel spec 255/40/18 (0.3% difference or something I couldn't remember exactly) but the sidewall will be a little stretched. At the end I decided to go with 255/35/19 to retain factory spec. 265/35/19 is too tall and it will rub the fender with your wheel spec.

Hope you can formulate your spec.

i would like to reduce the gap between my fender and my tires on the back and maybe on the front also but its not too bad on front

here is my set up

is 250 awd

rims
19x8.5 offset +35 front
19x9.5 offset +38 back

tire

front 225/35/19
back255/30/19

lowering spring h&r awd (11/4 inches drop)

Question is can i put 265/30/19 to reduce the gap without rubbing, will it make a difference
if not what can i put?? will i have tochange the front tire

So here's the dilemma:

We have almost everything ready except for tire sizes. Wheels going on the car are LC818's 19x8.5 +30 and 19x10 +38. My suspension's being switched out to BC coils.

The goal is the lower the car to exactly 25" from floor to fender. Being it's AWD, I can't go any lower without risking my front CV boots tearing.

Thus I'm debating between two tire sizes:

235/35/19 and 275/30/19

or

225/35/19 and 265/30/19

How much of a finger gap will I have with these two tire specs? I want to have as close to 0 zero finger gap as possible. Also, would there be any rubbing besides the front wheel liner? We have a heat gun ready for the liner.

Thanks!

Edit: Tires will most likely be either Ventus V12's or Conti DW's.

Sounds good.

Any idea how flush I'll be with the 225 and 265's at 25"?

This isnt really a wheel fitment issue, but I have a suspension question. I current have 18x8.5 +30 rims and 225/40 F and 255/40 R tires. Im planning on getting Megan EZ coils and want to be dropped to between 0-1 finger gap. My question is will I be rubbing if I go this low? Would I need any fender mods? And lastly will this be too low that I would need to get a rear camber kit?

This thread is the result of merging over 100 threads on the same topic - will these wheels fit on my IS? Feel free to ask any questions you may have on whether your specific wheels will fit on the 2IS, but please search this thread first - as you can see, there's plenty of information here already.

EDIT: For those of you searching or IS250 AWD fitment information, this thread should yield some great information.

should not need fender mods. should not be rubbing.

and instead of getting a camber kit to correct uneven tire wear, get a spot-on alignment with toe @ dead even ZERO.

there's a similar thread for awd variants.

wheels will fit fine, but they're a bit... narrow.

and you'll want to go w/ 225/35-19 + 255/35-19.
