Just out of curiousity, how's offset work?

and

would a 225/40/18 tire fit a 18x8.5 rim without being stretched excessively?

I dont know how to go about choosing a tire size for the rim size I want I WOULD like to have 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear. Any suggestions?

my english isn't good enough to explain how offset works, but i think this will help you:

http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

the 225 tire should have a very slight stretch,
maybe you'll find a pic here: http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2

Hey Guys,

Finally going to pull the trigger on a new set of wheels. I currently have Tein S Techs on factory shocks.
Can you help me out with a couple of questions?

I have two options.

1. "hella flush" - Will I need to do any fender mods? and what tire sizes would i need to run?

19x9 +26
19x10 +26

2. Regular

19x8.5 +33
19x10 +40

what's the offset of the original factory 18x8 wheels and 18x8.5? I heard the 18x8 was +45 and the 18x8.5 was +50?

no, you're going to need to run stretch tires.

Thanks for all the answers. Just want to be sure, so summing everything up.

Im on Tein S Techs

Wheels 19X 9 +26 / 19X10 + 26

1. Tires needed 225/35 and 245/35
2. Front fenders tab relocate and Rears rolled?

Sorry for being so specific but just want to get all this done in one shot and dont want to get any surprises after install.

Thanks for the help!

you're better off getting the wheels on first and then getting the fender work done.

that way, you can find out what actually needs to be done vs. doing everything and finding out you don't need that much work (or conversely, DO need that much more work).
