Hey guys just got a quick question, I've posted on the SSR wheel thread but no one has replied yet...

I've been offered a set of SSR MS1s with the following specs;

18x9.5 +37 5x114.3 gray/polish lip w/ hyper disk
18x10 +24 5x114.3 gray/polish lip w/ lo disk

The seller told me that the fronts will clear TL-S brembos, but I am concerned about the rear.

Will the front&rear clear my stock IS350 brakes?

Thanks!

I need some help deciding on tire sizes. Rim decision was easy... Vossen CV-1s
Front: 19x8.5 32 mm
Rear: 19x10 38 mm

I have a 250 with stock suspension and as much as I would like to consider lowering if I want to stay married it is going to stay stock. I want to reduce the gaps to make up for not lowering and was thinking of a 245/40 in the front. That dia is about 26.5 or so which is about 1.5 taller than stock so it will close 3/4" of the gap and I can match that in the rear. The stock front on the IS-F is about 26 in dia so not much bigger but being wider I can bet it will rub.

Any advice? Any one out there with that size.

please, don't do it without lowerig the car. it will just look wrong. and it will look even funnier with those meaty tires. at least buy some springs, that's not really expensive.
when your wife asks if you lowered the car, just tell her the rims make the difference. (lol i would be a really bad husband , i guess)

225/35 and 245/35 should be fine with springs.

How do I set my car up to run the Vossen CV3 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rear without having my wheels stickout past the fenders? is it possible? their website has some nice pics of 2IS's with the CV3, but no info on how to achieve it I'm a noob btw... and bone stock. Open to suggestions and advice

What's the lowest offset I can go with a F sport spring drop?
I do not mind rolling the fenders. I am looking into the Varrstoen 2.2.2 in 19s...

Any useful info are much appreciated. Thanks

you can conceivably run very low offsets (even lower than the run-of-the-mill +22 seen in the 2is section). however, it will look like ***, since there's not enough camber, making the wheels poke out. i just happened to drop by a local meet and happened to see a 19x9.5/10.5 +22 on f-sport springs set-up in person... and it looks terrible.

if you're looking to stay on f-sport springs for a while, stick with higher offsets. i think they come in +35 now.

^ please contact the wheel manufacturer to find out if they have enough brake clearance.

Just bought a set of wheels 20x9x35 and 20x10.5x32
I'm planning on getting my fenders rolled but is a pull necessary? The wheel shop told me I should really get a fender pull which I feel a little hesitant with. Or can I get away with some camber.
Also how would 255/30/20 for tires work out for the rear?

I just got some rohana rims and I am worried about the back . I didn't consider running stretched tires like I should have .

May rear setup is 20x10.5 +40 tire is a 275/30/20 rides fine till you hit a dip or bump then you hear a crazy sounding scrape and I am not even lowered on my eibach springs yet. I know I am gonna need a fender roll and maybe a pull. Just want to see what my options are. I would have lowered it today but I heard all the scraping. And I am sure you can't return tires so I am stuck with them. I know you gonna hear a little scraping but I don't want to damage the tire or anything I am hoping it just fender lining under there and not a sharp edge of sheet metal
