Will these fit my IS250? I'm planning to get the car dropped by atleast 1.5" both front and back, am I going to to need spacers and fender rolling? thanks!

should not need fender rolling, but like laobo979 posted, that bolt pattern (5x120) doesn't work for the 2is (5x114.3).

you can, but you're compromising the original structural integrity of the wheels. any machine work that alters the structural integrity of the wheel should be given some serious thought.

if they're 5x114.3 bolt pattern, then yes.

i would go with 19's to really show off the wheel faces, but that's an aesthetic decision. if you're looking to stay with 18's to keep running OEM-sized tires, i'd look at other selections. /$0.02

Projectdna you seem to be a God on this thread, thank you. I was only looking at these because another member was selling them kinda cheap. I would rather have 19's also

Default Need help

Just bought some Hankook V12 tires. About to order wheels. I will be running 225/40-18 in the front and 255/40-18 in the rear. The wheels i am getting are 18X8 in the front and 18X9.5 in the rear. My question is should i go with a +25 or +35 offset for the front wheels? I know if i go with the +25 it will give me a better stance but will it affect my driving. For the rear i should probably stay with the higher offset, correct?

18x9.5 +22
18x10 +22
Was thinking of putting 235 for fronts and 255 for rears for tires.
The wheels currently on it is 225/245 i believe.
Planning to roll my fenders.
How well would these fit and what tire size would you suggest i run?

if you stick with the higher offsets, it shouldn't affect your handling.

btw, 18x8 is OEM-sized up front.

you won't be able to pull off 235's up front. maybe 255's in the rear... maybe.

i'd stick w/ 225 and 245 for the fronts and rears, respectively.

Default Need help with offset

I tried to search for information on this thread with no luck. There are so many replies.

I have a 2006 IS350. I have not had it lowered or any modificaitons done on it yet. I found some wheels that I like, but they only come in 20x8.5 with a +20 or +38 offset and 20x9.5with the same offsets.

My car currently has a staggered setup on 17's and I like the setup.

Is there anyway I can make a combination work (and still look good) with these wheels? Does anyone have any pictures with their 20" setup with the measurements that go with them.

I am also looking at 19" wheels. Haven't decided between the 20" or the 19". The ones I like don't come in 19, but if I can't use their offset I will have to move on to a different set.

before you determine if you need spacers or not, i'd give BBS a call and find out if those wheels clear the oem IS350 brake calipers.

go with +38 offset. you won't need fender modifications, and should be able to run at the very least OEM treadwith-sized tires (225 and 255 for the OEM 18's).

Thanks PROJECTDNA!

I have heard that it looks better with a higher offset on the back. I don't know anything about this topic, but I plan to order the rims and tires online and I don't want to get the wrong fit.

i think they're nice wheels, but those specs have been covered through and through - they were popularized by varrstoens.

so, i suggest that you search through this thread and find out for yourself what you need to do to make them fit.

if you have any other specific questions, feel free to ask.
