Will need to roll your fenders and tab upfront. I recently switched up wheels and was running those exact tire sizes 215/40 and 235/40. Have them sitting at home, about 2,800 miles on them. Let me know if you would be interested. Willing to sell all 4 for $350 + shipping.

This is it, and what you can expect for yours to look like as we had very similar specs

Going from 235/35/19 to 225/45/19 would mean a 5.57% diameter difference. Not only will you be exposing your lip to potential curb rash, but also it is a 1.50" more in diameter, 0.75" more on sidewall height, and 0.75" more in overall radius which translates to a 4.72" difference in overall circumference.

You're going to run into significant rubbing due to the increase in inches on the 19" wheel even without being lowered. If lowered, this would require significant fender work.

---------------------------------

225/40/19 however is only a difference of 2.34%. You're still running the risk of sidewall damage due to a decrease in width, however your overall diameter is only increasing by 0.61", sidewall height increase by 0.31", and radius increase by 0.31", which translates to an overall circumference increase of 1.93".

Depending on your suspension situation, this may prove to be a problem. However, it is likely that this set up still is not recommended due to possible rubbing even on stock suspension.

The 235/35/19 is the most optimal tire size unfortunately. As it has been used by many members on the boards that have 19" wheels, both lowered, and stock suspension height. If you wanted a thicker tire, it may be wise to move to a 18" wheel.

MODS: Would it be possible to have these tools be stickied? I've been using them to help with these questions, and I find them VERY useful.

Need some help. I think im about to rub like crazy!

I am putting on 19x10.5 +22 on the rear with 275/30/19. How low can I go? I dont mind rolling and a very slight pull and even taking the liner out. I would like to go quite low with my coilovers, but I would like minimal rubbing.

you need to stretch tires on 245/35 with that wheel setup

Really? That seems like a serious stretch. No offense meant rookie because I am not well versed in this matter, but can anyone second rookie's idea?

I agree with Rookie. That is the optimal setup for his specs on the wheel. one thing to pay attention to though is when buying a 245 trie for the rear make sure the load rating matches the car. I bought 245/35/19 tires for my 10.5 rears only to find out the load rating is 93 and the car calls for a load rating of 95 for the rear. This might not matter to most but it is a huge worry to me. My 10.5 rears are only +30 so Im planning on getting some 255/35/19. im sure it can be done on the +22 also with some negative camber and a fender roll.

that's not a serious stretch, and i second rookieIS's suggestion.

you're simply not going to get away w/ 275's on a 10.5"-wide wheel w/ +22 offset. 245's are your best bet in terms of clearance given those wheel specs.

and i don't understand why this needs confirmation when it's the umpteenth time it's been covered in this thread. please use the search function.

Thanks guys, i appreciate it.

Ok, I read a few posts concerning 10.5 rear wheels. 245/35/19 seems to be the norm just as you all have stated, (thanks for the responses by the way). I have also read that running such a stretched tire isnt good for the sidewalls of the tire. So, can I run a 255/30/19 if I put some Megan arms on the rear? Or not lower it to a no-gap ride height?

it's not an unsafe stretch, if that's what you're implying.

the only problem w/ a 255/30-19 is that its rolling diameter is not within OEM spec, and will cause your speedometer and odometer to read incorrectly.

the 2is traction control system also won't like it, and i'tll let you know.

if you wanted to run wider-than-OEM-sized tires, a 10.5"-wide wheel w/ +22 offset will not accomplish that.

Well, 245/35/19 it is then. Thats funny about the traction control, I bought these off a 350Z guy that said that he couldnt run them because of his traction control. Thanks for the further clarification, I really appreciate it.

not necessarily a fitment question but I just got a set of wheels recently and went ahead and rolled all 4 fenders and shaved the front bumper tab but didn't completely remove it. I just shaved most of it down, hopefully that will be enough
anyways, my question is, do you guys remove the plastic fender liner completely in the front? because that leaves the whole set of wires exposed in the wheel well towards the front? have any of you had problems with the wires being more exposed??

Probably the most asked questions here. And now i have to ask one. I have read through the Fitment Thread on CL etc.. But, my specific setup i am looking at seems a little different but i think i should be fine. Question is, will i need to roll or cut my rear fenders with this setup and do the tires seem like a correct size?

Front: 19x8.5 +30 offset and 245/35/19
Rear: 19x9.5 +25 offset and 275/30/19

Any input or even just a "they should fit fine" would be greatly appreciated.

i would go for 235/35/19 & 265/30/19

even with modified fenders (shaved or rolled), those tire sizes will not work.

go w/ 225/35-19 + 255/35-19 plus rolled fenders.
