depending on how low you go.. your problems will be in the back. it'll be close, but the front is fine. it's just the rear that'll be a close call. you might need a slight fender roll.

oem 18's come 18x8 +45 and 18x8.5 +50. the fronts won't look any different, but the rears will be sunken in.
but as long as the wheels clear the brake calipers, the tires should mount up, but aesthetically speaking it won't look great.
depends on your ride height.
but for the most part, you're going to need modified fenders.

I was hoping to use my stock tire too. ProjectDNA, you think is possible to used the stock tire setup ( 225/40/18 font and 255/40/18 ) with my current fender mod already would be better so i could save money on tire ? or is it better to go with 225/35/18 and 255/35/18 ? would there be any different..
thank in advance

tbh, the rears will be a close fit w/ 255/40-18. you may need to raise your ride height, if your fender mods aren't spot-on (fenders rolled flat).
but if you're looking to replace tires, try 245/40-18 vs. 255/35-18. the former has a rolling diameter closer to 255/40-18 than the latter.

Thank for all your help ProjectDNA
I am probably going to check my fender mod see if all 4 corner are flat enough to go with 255/18. But most likely i would get 245 to be on the safe side. plus need new tires soon anyways

I have a set of SSR Koenig (17x17.5 +28 offset) sitting around at home and was wondering if its ok to install them onto my IS250 AWD. Currently it's running OEM 17" rims and planning to drop it with some Teins. There is one issue tho, the after-market rim's bolts pattern are 120.65 so I'm gonna need a adapter to convert it to 114.3. The adapter is gonna be 1" thick so I'm wondering if its gonna rub? Please help, I know nothing about wheels and set ups!

if so, you'll definitely rub w/ the adapters.

Does anyone know if 18" Tenzo-R Type M (18x8.0 +45) will fit on my IS250 RWD 2009?
It has 225/40/18 wheels both front and back.
I know I'm supposed to get 245/40/18 for rear wheels, but I'm thinking of sticking with 225 for now.
Any insight that this will fit?

I am looking to get some XXR's that are 18 x 8.5 +25 all around. I am currently at stock height, however; I am planning to get the F-Sport springs and shocks/struts. Will I be rubbing and need fender work?

Has anyone tried these on an IS350?
I emailed them to ask if it clears the calipers and they said yes on IS250 but haven't tested on an IS350.
http://www.sonictuning.com/wheels/18...set-5x114.html it has a slight convex face
