I emailed them to ask if it clears the calipers and they said yes on IS250 but haven't tested on an IS350.
http://www.sonictuning.com/wheels/18...set-5x114.html it has a slight convex face
I looked at the website, and the specs are 18x8.5 +42 all around. Correct me guys if I'm wrong but I don't believe that those will clear is350 calipers

Aww, crap I forgot about the IS350's caliper. Has anyone tried the XXR 521 or 531 wheels?

those wheel specs will typically clear the IS350 calipers.

to be on the safe side, plan for fender work.

they look like BBS LM reps, so it's not exactly a rare look.

it'll clear the rear, that's for sure.

i doubt it will clear the front. the high offset means that the inside face is closer to the mounting pad.

while i'm not a firm believer in spending the necessary resources on trying to make replica wheels fit, to each his own.

10.5 x 19 +30
9.5 x 19 +30

I was told to get 255/35/19 for the rear and 235/35/19 for the front.

Got the tires mounted today and the shop is saying your rears are leaking due to the tire being too stretched ????
So should I get a 275/30/19 ???

That shop doesn't know what they're doing then. Cause 255/35 isn't bad of a stretch. I have 245/35 on my 10.5's and I have no leak issue. A lot of members here run a 255/35 (and some even narrower like 245 or 235) on a 10.5 rim. I'd say try another shop.

Well I called the tire shop and the place I bought my tires from. Since I'm rolling my fenders I might do 275/35/19. The 255/35/19 has too much of the rim showing. Not my style.

Discount tire said the tires i purchased are meant for upto a 10" wheel. The fact that its 10.5 is probably causing the leak.

Question now is 275/35/19 and fender roll with natural pull hopefully fixes rubbing.

given what you've provided in your posts, i question the brand/model of tires you've mounted, the shop you bought your tires from, and the shop that's mounting your tires.

255/35-19 is a safe stretch (if you want to call it that) on 10.5's, so the fact that the tires are not holding air and are thus giving you issues tells me that the shop sold you some cheap-*** tires ("Galleon"?), and now your wheel/tire shop can't get the tire to hold air.

now, if you're really set on 275's, go with 275/30-19, not 275/35-19. the latter is too tall and wide, and even with rolled fenders you'll still have clearance issues. also, the former has the closest rolling diameter to OEM specs and won't throw off your odometer, speedometer, and traction control.

the tires were purchased from discount tire. ive made several purchases from them in the past with no issues. the brand used was Falken. i called discount tire and according to the tire i bought, its meant for upto a 10" tire.My rim is 10.5" wide..............idk who to point the finger at.

I have a return label for the 255/35/19 and will be getting the 275/30/19. Same brand, falken.

TY projectdna for the input. im about to order them now.

Should i keep the 235/35/19 upfront or replace those for 235/30/19 as well ?

hmm apparently 19 in tires aren't as expensive as I thought, would 19x8.5 +35 clear the front calipers of IS350? BBS LM Style from http://www.sonictuning.com/wheels/19...set-5x114.html and would I need a roll if it fits? on 225/35 255/35 tires planning to lower 0.8-1 in. Thanks!

19x9+35mm front with 235/35/19, 19x10+35mm rear with 265/30/19, I daily drive my car with really low height, both front and rear fenders have been rolled, and I have an air suspension
Question need help please:
1. Is this set up all right? gonna rub the fender or liner a lot? Any recommend of tire size?
2. When I lower it have wheels slammed, make whole car on the ground is that going to be all right or I should get the camber kit? I used to run 19x9.5 rear and it’s great no need camber kit I can have wheels all the way in

falkens stretch well, so then i question the shop that mounted the tires for you. that, or there's a design defect that's preventing the tire from holding air. something still doesn't add up.

keep the 235/35-19 for the fronts. they're a hair taller, but shouldn't get in the way of things in terms of clearance.

you can't assume that a certain wheel will clear the IS350 calipers just by the wheel specs.

assuming they fit, you shouldn't need fender work based on your ride height, wheel specs, and tire size.

1. if you're on air, you can drive it at stock height and dump it when you're parked. tire size and wheel specs aren't as important as if you were static (read: on coilovers).
2. no need for camber kits.

Since BBS LM style wheels are popular, what offsets/width do people get without spacers to clear the calipers?

Thanks for the reply! Is there anyway to get around it? I really like the rims.
