It all depends on the tire sizes you go with. I'd personally go with 225/35 and 245/35. With that said, if you don't go lower you should be fine. If you go lower, you'll need a roll and a natural pull

could you please explain what a natural pull is?

PS: tire size is 225 40 19 and 245 45 19

Natural pull is a by-product of rolling the lip of the fender whereby the edge of the fender will be pushed out a little creating more fender-to-tire clearance in the process.

So I have been doing a lot research my wheels is 19x9+35mm, 19x10+35mm for 2IS. Most people go with 225/35/19 and 255/30/19, just wonder is it going to be safe on the road and no rubbing? I’m thinking to go 235/35/19, 265/30/19 please help

It depends on your preference truly. Some (like me) like the slightly stretched look. And the 225 and 255 setup you would have on those wheels would be just a mild stretch. So you really wouldn't run into safety concerns over those tire and wheel combinations. Unless you have major potholed roads, I mean major. If you are worried about stretching but want some stretch, do 235/35 and 255/35. That's a good setup I think for a mild stretch.

As far as rubbing, it depends how low you are or will go.

19x8.5 +38 front
19x9.5 +42 rear

2 questions (AWD Fitment)...

(1) From the looks of it, the rear will be pretty sunk in. What size spacer should i run?

(2) Also can someone recommend an AWD tire setup? Car will be dropped on tein s techs, and i would like to avoid rolling fenders. However i also need some protection against the NYC potholes.

Thanks!

1. yes.
2. 215/35-19 + 235/35-19 for those brave enough and need the clearance, 225/35-19 + 245/35-19 for those not looking to run anything past a mild stretch.

Bump, was wondering if anyone can provide input on a tire size to run, it would be greatly appreciated. I hate to bump my own posts but current tires are shot and looking to order soon. Thanks in advance!!!

225/35/19 in the front and 265/30/19. This will keep your rolling diameter the same on each corner as needed for AWD. The only problem I had was with the amount of rubber there was. I wouldn't be concerned about this if i didn't have NYC roads to worry about. I constantly was worrying about my driving habits and was super careful, it drove me crazy. So I ditched the setup and am going back to 18's so I can get more rubber on the road. It's something to consider, but keep in mind I am personally a bit more paranoid than the average person...

I would suggest getting wheels that fit the way you like rather than get spacers. However if you're sold on these wheels I would run a 10mm spacer in the front, and a 10 or 15mm spacer in the rear. Goodluck

depends on your ride height and whether or not your fenders are modified to accomodate said tire size.

This is my car on stock 17s

So as a refresher, I'm wanting to put on the following:

Front 245/40/18 on a 9.5" wheel +30
Rear 265/40/18 on a 10.5" wheel +30

Thoughts? Fender rolling required?

Won't fit without adding additional camber with a camber kit or wide body fenders.
