What is the difference between these two sized tyres on a 18x10.5 wheel?

255/40/18
265/35/18

Will the 255 looked more stretched than the 265's?
Will there be more clearance issues with fenders on the 265?

Thanks for the confirmation! So I am having a hard time finding all season tires for the rears that are decent for the price...Anyone have any rec's for the rear (19x9.5)? It rains a lot here so thats the only reason why I am looking for all seasons.

Maybe I can run 255/35, 255/30. 265/35 instead of 265/30 to get more of an option or would I be stretching it too much? I want to be safe since I daily drive my car.

Edit: I did find some Falkens 452 and Nexen N7000. I know the Falken's aren't all season but they do well in wet and dry weather...

19x 9.5 + 19 front 19x10.5 +19

Not too low, but rear tires tucking 75%. Rear fenders will be pulled and all bumper tabs relocated. Can i run 235/35/19 on front and 255/35/19 on rear Michelin PS2?

the former have been dealt with in so many previous threads, i'm not going to repeat what's already been posted. you'll just have to read previous posts.

the latter requires less work than the former, but i don't have enough experience with 20-inch wheels to give you tire recommendations.

no, especially since 1. you're tucking, and 2. you're on PS2's, which are known for heavier shoulder construction (read: reduced clearance).

Hey everyone,

I'm getting LC 818s. Front 19x8.5+30 and rear 19x10 +38. I'm on F-sport springs/struts.

Will this work and not rub? 235/35/19 and 265/35/19? Thank for the help!

I have a rwd is250 with 20x9x35 offset (fronts) and 20x10.5x32 (rear).
If I upgrade my brakes to the is350 brakes will they still fit?

i suppose "measure twice, cut once" doesn't mean much to you, does it?

shouldn't rub.

but i'm sure others w/ LC818's can attest to that. a search would've answered it for you.

brake caliper clearance and offset are usually unrelated, though low-offset wheels typically clear large brake calipers.

please contact your wheel manufacturer for brake caliper clearance information.

Hi, i need some advice on a tire set up.

I'm going to be running 19x9 +24 and 19x10 +19 and i'm going to be dropped on bc coils 14/12k to no finger gap. I was originally planning on 215/35/19 and 235/35/19, but i found achilles and reviews on it was great but no 215 tire. So would 225/35/19 and 245/35/19 work with my setup? I actually dont want it to be thaat stretched anyways, so i guess this tire setup is better imo, but would it rub or any fender tacoing? I'm going to have my fenders rolled flat and relocate the front bumper tabs. Thanks in advance guys. Really appreciate it.
