235/40-19.

Hi, just got ahold of some nice g37s rims. Looking for best tire setup for the flush look with less modding if possible. Lowered on Roadmagnets .

19x8.5 +45
19x9 +43

Thanks

You're not going to look "flush" with those wheel specs and tires don't play as big as a role as does the actual wheels. The tires I'd run would be 215/35/19 and 225/35/19 or 235/35/19.

Thanks for replying. What do you mean about the roles of the wheels? I read somewhere some guy put 10/15mm spacers on. Would the tire specs be changed if I went that route?

Well, you said you wanted to look flush, so I just wanted to inform you that you won't be able to achieve that with just those wheel specs. Since you're going to add spacers, I'd definitely go with the tire size I suggested. You'll have the tires stretch a bit, but you'll have to most clearance to minimize rubbing.

stick with those specs, run 225/35-19 + 255/35-19 to stay near the OEM rolling diameter.

15mm:
19x8.5 +30
19x9 +28

225/35-19 + 245/35-19 + fender modifications (rear)

20mm:
19x8.5 +25
19x9 +23

215/35-19 + 245/35-19 + fender modifications (all four corners)

you'd have to effectively lower those offsets to low 20's to start talking about "stretching" tires.

Thanks for all the help. Greatly appreciated, I just used the tire calculator on 1010tires.com. It says the 255/35/19 is 4% different. You sure it was 255/30/19?

I am planning on purchasing some Wedssports SA-55M.

I currently have an IS350 AWD, so i don't want to stagger my tires.

Can you let me know if these will be flush and can you suggest what size of tires i should get with these as well:

Option 1: 18x9 +36 front and +20 in rear

Option 2: 18x10 +36 on front and 18x10 +18 rears

I heard these will rub and will require me to roll fenders but instead of rolling the fenders would i be able to use low profile tires and make them not rub?

Thanks,

255/35-19, not a typo.

but if you feel like i'm wrong, help yourself.

you'd have to stretch your tires so much that your 2is would become impractical to drive.

Oh okay, i will stay away then.

Would 18x9 +36 front and +20 in rear with normal tires work?

yes for the front, no for the rear.

as a recommendation, for the AWD 2is, go w/ a square wheel set-up (same specs for all four corners).

245/30-20. might still be too wide, though. 235/30-20 is probably a better fit (for more clearance).

I am looking at some new wheels, the 19" LFA style ones in hyper black. Need to get some info if the tires might rub. I do not have a modified suspension. I do have the sport package which is 1/2" lower than stock but thats it and I have no plans to change the suspension.

wheel specs are:
F: 19 x 8.5" +38
R: 19 x 9.5" +45

tires I was looking at:
F: 245/35/19
R: 275/35/19

another persons LFA wheel thread:

I'm going to be running a squared setup for my awd (as recommended) on BCR coil overs. More than likely a finger gap or around 25" from the ground to the fenders. The size of the wheels are 18x9 + 30 all around. Should I run a 225/40/18 tire set up or a 235/40/18 setup. I want to try the latter, but if it's going to rub I'll just stick with the first choice. Any recommendations?
