Front: 20x9 +38 225/30/20
Rear: 20x10.5 +42 255/30/20
Dropped on coils but not slammed.

What kind of fender work would I need?

Also, is that kind of stretch unsafe for daily highway driving?

Looking for a lightweight track setup for my IS350. 18X7.5 (+43) and 18X8.5 (+40). Probably going to run a 225/40 up front and 265/35 in the rear. Any issues?

Aren't stock fronts 18x8? Why would you get even smaller wheels in front and the same size rears as stock?

I found a used pair a nice forged Volk CE28 wheels but unfortunatly the front is a 7.5" wide wheel but they are cheap. About 8lbs less a wheel compared to stock which makes a big difference on the track.

I would save my money and just roll stock wheels until you can save up for bigger wheels. Just my opinion, though. I do love those wheels! Also, you shouldn't have any problems fitting those.

Yah I agree but the guy is only looking to get 1100 for the set. Plus the weight savinges is more than I thought. The fronts are 14lbs compared to the 28lb stock wheels and the rears are 16lbs compared to the 30 stock rears. Might be good for a spare track setup.

Running that big of a difference in tire width from front to rear sounds like a recipe for understeer to me. If you really want the wheels that bad I would at least run tires closer to the same width. Most 245s will go on a 7.5" wheel, you might run 245s all the way around, you'll get a little more width from the rear tire due to the wheel. I think the reduction in understeer will make up for the lack of 20mm of width in the rear, especially if you choose some good sticky, track-worthy tires.

This is my new setup will post a thread on build later after giving it a good wash, the wheels are matte black Varrstoen ES2s prob will powder coat them bronze later on... They are 19x9.5 F +22 with 235/35 and 19x10.5 R +22 with 245/40 and yes rolled the rear fenders you can see a tiny dimple close to the bumper and yes cracked on the inside can hardly tell but will be addressed when I reclear the car... And as far as the front I am now rubbing all over the plastic so tonight will take a heat gun to it to fix, I have ksport coils amd prob gonna max out my stiffness upfront to avoid bottoming out to much the rear is good if any of you have any tips on fixing the rubbing on my front fenders please advise thanks!

I am hoping you guys can help me. My first time buying a set of rims. I have an is250 AWD sitting on Megan EZ. Currently on stock 17" with the wheel to fender gap eliminated. So keeping in mind the diameter of the tires and reading the comments about deegees post, I also want to know if the following similar spec will fit:

18x9.5 +30 front with 225/40/18
18x10.5 +30 rear with 255/35/18

With the tires size, I have to keep the difference in diameters to a minimum due to the AWD system so I was wondering if the tires will have too much of a stretch? or should I go with a different size?
I am also guessing I will need to roll my fenders on both front and rear. But what other fender mods would I need to do? bumper tab relocate and mold liner? or is the spec too aggressive and not worth it for a daily driven car?

Looking good but holy crap those are meaty. I think the front rub is correlated to 2 major factors; Your drop and your tire size. You went with 235s so you are going to rub if you don't raise your car to a certain height.

What I would do if I were you is to determine what height you will be happy with, then make sure that no metal is rubbing on your tire with that drop. If you are rubbing hard, keep a watch on your tire and what its hitting inside. I am saying this because I got pretty paranoid when I started rubbing but I found out that it was just plastic fender lining. It does suck at first but eventually, much of this will go away as you rub through the liner. I do suggest you to cut out many of the upper liner, I think its safe to cut out a lot of the lining that is not close to your fog lights. The rubbing should stop eventually. (You will always rub when you hit a dip though, could be wrong).

I think the other option is getting aftermarket front arms, pretty sure there are many people who can help you with that if you are thinking of going that route.

Default Varrsoten w/ Tokico & HR?

Looking to purchase a used set of Varrstoen Es 1, 19x9.5 F+15, 19x11 R+12.

Would I have a good fitment with a Tokico Blue + H&R Sport suspension?

Anyone recommends these rims with this setup?

Would I need fender tweaks for this to work?

Seller has wheels on air bags… looks sick.

Appreciate any feedback!

yeah I am working on my fender liners some more tomorrow, as per E46m3LOL he completely removed the fender lining so might consider that route, as far as of now thats the only rub I get is with the plastic, I will be ordering some JDM exterior tabs and completely remove my bumper tabs and then I should be good and I think the same as well I will prob always rub hitting harsh dips

Is it safe to say that the rear wheels would look funny with a higher offset than the fronts?

For example, my vendor recommended i run 18x9.5 +22F and 18x10.5 +30R to eliminate tire stretch of going with a +22 all around. I'll need atleast a 3-5MM spacer in the front to clear the factory IS350 brakes which would make the offset around +17F.

Looking at Varrstoen ES7 style...

I have a 2008 IS350, currently staggered on the OEM 18'S. I have a set if 17x8, +35 offset Enkei RPF1's I would like to use.
I would like to use these wheels with 235/45 tires all around.
Any issues with rubbing it tire size? Need to get them this weekend.
