Hello.
I cannot remember if I found the info here or not but I'd feel better asking. I have 18x8 wheels all the way around (AWD). They are the 7 spoke G35 wheels (03).
I can't figure out why but a 225/40/18 tire has a bit of a stretch on these rims. (G-Spider wheels did not have a stretch on 225 tire). Would a 235 still be stretched?

I also want to know if I could go 245/45/18.
I have 245/40/18 on my summer G-Spider wheels and they work fine.

Winter: Anyone know if a 16 inch steelie will fit over a 2007 awd is250 brakes?

Hi everyone
I have 18x9 with 20 offset rims all around
My tires are rubbing something.

Im running 245/40/18 on front and rear.

Was wondering if i change my front tires would i have to change the back ones as well because its awd?

And what size wld be more appropriate?

Thanks in advance!

With those front offsets, you're rubbing up against the fender tab, and probably most of the liner as well. Not familiar with tire sizes for 18", so can't help you there. But for AWD, you want the rolling diameter of fronts and rear to be the same. If you change front tires, chances are you'll have to change the rear. Fix your fenders first, then see if it solves the issue before you buy new tires.

Anything is possible with a lot of custom work.

i was running a 12 in the rear +32. So im my estimation the wheel should only stick out another 1 1/4 inches. the front may need a little bit bc its 18x10.5 +6. i had 18x10 +25 previously. i think i can run this stock body and some camber. Im on air also which helps a ton. what do you guys think?

Curious to see if this is possible

Wheel Fitment:
Fronts are 19 x 8.5 +35 offset
Rears are 19 x 10 +42 offset

Fronts are 245/35/19 and rears are 275/30/19

Hey guys need your help on my rears. Purchased some 20" wheels with tires over the weekend but i seem to be rubbing on the inside lip of the rear fender closer to the rear doors. The specs are

F: 20x8.5 +35 (T:225/35/20)
R: 20x10 +30 (T:275/30/20)

My question is should i change out the rear tires to 255/30/20 or should i just roll the rear fenders to eliminate the rubbing on the inner fender lip.

Thanks,

I am on Coils so the gap right now is 1.5 in the rear. on my RWD IS250. Not looking to go any lower at the moment.

Im thinking about getting some 19 inch wheels that are 19x8.5/10 +35 front and rear i want to run a good size tire(don't want to be super low) probably 255 and 285? not sure but i am curious if i would have major rubbing issues. I am planning on rolling fenders.

I have an old set of Enkei LF-10's that I plan on putting on my 07 250, I will eventually lower the car and the tires currently on the wheels are 245/35/20. What tire size would be best to go with to still have some protection of the wheel and minimize rubbing issues? Picture for reference of what 245/35/20 looked like on an accord coupe but, what will best for the IS 250?
