I'm sorry for asking this since it will make me sound ignorant, but what does high/r disk mean?
Tires size would most likely be 235/30/20f and 265/30/20r. As for the drop, I wanted tein s techs, but will have to settle for eibach pro kits since 20's are kind of big and I dont want to roll the fenders.

as for your tire size/rim size selection, sorry i have no exp with 20" or big tires, but you did give enough info that i'm sure someone else here could chime in and help.

high disk/r disk allows for the clearance of our brakes with the spokes on the disk face (the face of the rim). 350 brake calipers are big.

Got a price for a seto of four wheels Work T1S, working out at $3000
$276 shipping (ireland)
and the rest for the wheels?
is this expensive?
Wheels are 19" 8.5 and 10"rear (would i be better with 9.5 in the rear?)
offsets are 34F and 36R
Thanks

Check out the Official Work wheels owner thread. You can get a good idea from what some of these members have done. I'm not sure how good the roads are where you live but if your going to get any rims I would not stretch the tires to get wider lips. The link below looks like a good fit for the IS. He has tires that are just as wide or wider than stock.
Check out post #22, #38 and #91. I'm sure there are more in there but I didn't have time to look. I'm off to work, good luck with your purchase.

Here's my set up, post #315. Volk VR G-10. Keep in mind that wheel prices have gone up in the last six months. So some of the pricing you see may not reflect the current market. I wanted these Volks back in March of 09 and I bought them in October of 09. In that time the cost of the set went up $500. Good thing I got a good discount from the shop that I bought my first set of Volks from.

I was stationed at FT Polk LA and I recall seeing on the roads in Louisiana signs that said "substandard roadway". I feel your pain man, some of the worst roads I've see in the United States. Iraq beats LA but part of that is due to the IEDs. hahaha

Wheel fitment guru's I need your advice please!
I am finally planning on buying some rims for my IS and I want to do it right. I went through the wheel thread and had trouble finding anyone with a set-up I could steal numbers from. I am planning on doing 20x8.5 in the front and 20x9.5 in the rear. I am lowered on tein s. tech lowering springs right now. My question is about offsets. I have never really grasped the concept of them to an extent of being able to visualize what would work. What is the most flush offset I should be looking for with this set up? Thanks for your help in advance!

IS250 AWD Aftermarket Wheel Offset Question
Would a 20x10.5 +25 w/ a 285-30 fit the rears of my IS250? I had the rear fenders shaved down and I'm dropped on F-Sports. I want to go aggressive and just needed some pointers.
Thanks,
- Neil

That would not fit.
A x10 +38mm has like 10mm left before touching the fender, x10.5 +25mm would mean your lip will stick out by around 15mm. And running 285 you will rub like a *****, I run 275 and it barely rubs on my 18x10. You should pull the fender at this point.
Or you can run like 265, but at this point if you hit a large enough dip, if your tires dont get destroyed your fenders will.
