Hows this setup for IS350 ?
[lowered and about one finger gap front and rear]

19x8 (35) with 245/35
19x10 (30) with 275/30

1) Would this be an issue with front brake calipers ?
2) Would different tire size give better "flushness" ?

Thanks in advance

It's going to look funny, get 19x9 or even 19x8.5 in those offsets and tires don't give you flushness, your offsets do 19x9 offset 30 will be flushed in the front and you will need a 225/35 and for rear a 19x10 22 is flushed I think.

HELP! My car is at the shop right now and they won't put my wheels on because the tire tread is too low and they'd be legally liable if something happened. So I need to pick a tire size in the next hour.

Wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. I have BC Racing Coilovers, thinking of a 1 finger gap all around drop, NO fender mods. I was thinking 235/35/19 and 275/30/19. Whatever is best, and closest to stock tire rolling diameterr. Was thinking Michelin PS2 or Hankook V12 for brand. THANK YOU!

Hello guys,

I know these will fit but I want to know if it will sit better than the stock rims (offset wise). Its 20x8.5 40mm offset both front and back. Will it look awkward? TIA.

Tried to install new wheels today, but front did not clear the calipers.

Front: 18x8 (offset 36) with 225/40/18
Rear: 18x9 (offset 36) with 255/40/18

shop tried 10mm (actually 2x5mm because they were out of 10mm) spacers but barely [paper thin] cleared the calipers.
I was told go with 15mm spacers just to be safe, however shop thinks I will rub with 15mm (new offset 21) that I should roll my front fenders before they do anymore work.

I ended up leaving the wheels at the shop and will have to get my fenders rolled before going back.

Before I start looking for fender roll, am I going to rub 18x8 (21) with 225/40/18??
Also has anyone heard of/dealt with Shane? He does fender roll OC/LA area and known in G35Driver community

Also this thread is very helpful, but with 75+ pages its hard to read every single post to find out if your set up will work. I'm sure there are many dupliate questions.

what about a sticky with all the specs that works (along with tire size and what/how much they're lowered) / what doesn't or didn't work / and what they've done to fix it (i.e spacers, fender roll, shave, etc)

any opinions on new updated "will those wheels fit?" thread ?

I have the exact same wheel widths/offsets (well, I think my rear offset is +36, but close enough). I rub because I'm somewhat slammed on coils, but with just springs you'll be fine. I would recommend a 265/30/R19 tire though, it will allow you do slam on coils or add spacers down the road with less complications.

Can someone let me know if i'm going to have rubbing issues with this setup?

Front: 19x8.5 +22 245/35/19
Rear: 19x9.5 +22 275/35/19

Looking to drop 1" front and 0.8" rear.
