The mirror in the BMW M6 was done by www.radar-mirror.com , I think the youtube video was before thier website was up. I just had this done in my LX570 - here's some pics of the mirror.
It was $499 for an auto dimming mirror, they can do it for less without auto dimming but I didn't want to lose that. The install is very clean, the V1 is hidden in the headliner so no one will really know it's there.

Yeah you have to send in your mirror.. $399 - $499 is normal pricing for this mod. Radar-mirror.com was the only company that guaranteed no loss of auto dimming, which is a must have imo.
