OK I'll call them Monday and hope they can do it while I wait on Friday. I'm glad you guys agree with me. Thanks for your opinions.

I'd let them know straight up that they got paid to do it! Part of the money went to parts, but the rest was paid for professional knowledgeable labor to repair the car to "as close to factory quality as possible". I'd remind them of this, and tell them to earn their money!

mine had the same gap, maybe its the aftermarket parts!

It's also the fact that we bought Lexus's because of the high quality, which has extremely tight tolerances on the fit and finish. If they didn't think they could do this then they shouldn't have taken on the job. Plus you should have perhaps done some research on body shops for the quality of work. From word of mouth of family or friends.
