I'm going into the dealership tomorrow, and I will report back with what I find out.
I was getting some sort of signal, but I'm not very good with a multimeter, so I'm not sure what the results told me?

Just got back for the dealership, and still no illuminated sills
I think they went back to the old 2006 wiring. Obviously the service guy doesn't know for sure, but he told me that only cars that came with "memory seats" have to ablility to illuminate.
Looks like I am off to the harware store for some wire and wire nuts...

I agree that it sucks that they went back to the old way of wiring. But to be honest it wasn't hard at all to do. Plus, there are some bennifits to doing it this way:
1. They don't fade in/out (so they are full brightness as soon as you open the door)
2. They don't run off the dome light button, so you can still have the scuffs illuminate and have to domes off! (good for if you haven't done the LED dome light upgrade yet)
3. Some good ol' wrench time with your car.

Hey llylebeach would you mind showing me some pics how you tape your ground wire into the ISP? did you tap the red wire into the car ISP harness or into the harness from ISP itself?
would either method work?

Anyway, the reason you want to tap the car harness, is so that when you want to take off you ISP in the future for whatever reason, it won't be attached to the car with a wire! You would just simply unplug the harness and the ISP will be free.

All you would do is cut and make sure to leave enough wire to connect to..
and yes.. you don't care about the wire not on the connector.
Your new wire will tap into the white harness wire.. so when you plug it into the ISP, it will light up..
