For the illuminated door sills, there are two versions: one of them lights up with blue LED's:

and the other set lights up white, like mine:

Thanks for the clarification.
I have a hunch (I'm guessing here) Lexus took away the "plug n play" feature on the '10 so people pony up the cash for a package that includes them from the factory so they can make a few more bucks...
They should have left the wiring the same as 07-09...

Anyone have any idea if the 2011 is the same as a 2010?
Thank you so much for any insight!
-Nick
*EDIT* Just checked with my local dealer and they want 281 / each (almost $600 total) for the front, and cannot tell me if they will even work on a 2011...

Ok, I’m just worried about buying them to find that they can’t be installed. Sewell list that they can be used on the 2011 but are not plug and play. ???
I sent them an email:
“It says that the 2011 IS250 is not plug and play. How hard is it to install them on a 2011 IS250? Do you have instructions? Thanks.”
Their response:
“We unfortunately do not have the installation instructions to the sill plates for those models that are not plug and play.”
Not sure why they can’t just list some instructions if it's really so easy? It makes it sound like they heard it can be done but if you can’t get it to work it’s your problem.

Also, I’m confused about how they will work. There was a thread that stated it would work only if the dome light was on and they would not fade in like the foot well lights. Is this only if you don’t have the connector?

Ok, I have a newer 2011. Newer as in it had a $250 or $500 manufacture price bump and it looks like I have the connector on both sides.
I know that still doesn’t mean they will be plug and play. Mine is base model with the Premium Package Value Edition (heated/cooled seats, wood trim) and NAV but with HID lights, and larger rims added on versus the bigger luxury package.
Can I check with a volt meter to see if they are plug and play?
