Default Locked out of my trunk! (not the valet switch)

Alright so im in a bit of a predicament....my truck wont open using the interior switch, exterior button, or remote....ive done some reading and found out about the valet switch, but when i depressed it, it didnt work either. it makes a clicking noise when i try to open it, but dosnt fully unlock it..the dealer i had purchased my car from gave me one key and i just noticed that its a blank and still needs to be cut.

it there a way of accessing it from the interior for now? andone else run into this prob?

Id hate to bring it to the stealership, but its looking like i might not have a choice... Any input is appreciated...thanks

You should have 2 key fobs, detach the key and open the trunk with it, like a normal key type trunk. You say its not 'cut' but im not gonna take your word for it... also our trunks are not auto opening, you need to manually (with your hand) lift it open... of course it may truly not be 'user error' and you might have a problem with the lock itself.

Ive tried it a couple times....the key wont even go in all the way and wont twist once its in as far as it could go....the dealer i got it from only gave me one key, so im pretty screwed out of bringing it to a locksmith to have one duplicated. Hopefully the dealership has a solution that wont break my pockets...

ahhhh....I got the key cut today...tried it on the trunk, and its STILL a no go....the key works on every other lock, but the trunk still wont budge....Dealership quoted me $170 to diagnose it, not including any parts they might need....FML

its probably cheaper to kick in the panel (and replace it later) in the rear seat and pull the release.

I'd raise hell with the dealer for giving you one key that isn't even cut for the car--what if your fob died and you needed to get into the car??

i wedged my way in from the interior, you just gotta lift up really hard and be forcefull. and if you do break it, go to the junk yard and find an is and get what you broke.
