i just ridden my friends IS-F and i love his silver carbon interior... i knew replacements cost $1k plus, where can i get it cheap? i may consider this ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
or a cheaper alternative is carbon overlay (real cf w/ adhesive). where can i buy the best quality for those? are the ebay ones nice? can't seem to find a good review of it here in the forums. i want a snug/very good fit. don't want my silver oe dash to show...
carbon wrap is not an option for me. i've read the adhesive will be permanent and very hard to remove once applied. don't want my oe silver dashboard getting re-painted for that![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
what do you guys suggest i get? lastly i have a light gray interior, should i do my carbon in black or silver?
thanks again CL!

iirc, their 3M cf won't damage the trim, as in ripping the silver paint off. but they did say that it would leave the tape residue when it's been stuck on for a long time. i've wrapped the cf on the trim and then took if off when i messed up, and no damage was caused.
if you want real cf interior trim and under $1k, then check out this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...bon-fiber.html

You can use a little heat such as a hair dryer to soften the film when you decide to remove it. If any adhesive residue is left behind (which it doesn't seem to happen to this type of adhesive), you can use a general purpose wax/adhesive remover to clean it.

thanks for the reply aerotech!
what if the surface is stock? i have a silver dash interior and it doesn't seem to have a clear or gel coat... can i remove the film in the future? that's the only thing from preventing me to buy this product.
if there will be no damage on the dash i would love to get one from you guys. 2 colors available right?

It's a relatively new film, but it should remove with no problem... so long as the surface you are installing it on was clear coated/gel coated/painted correctly.
