Default What Oil weight should I use?
I know guys dumb question but I am just wondering what is the standard oil weight for the lexus IS250? And is there anything out there you reccommend? I am going to have a local chevy dealer just change my oil but they said to make sure what oil weight I use and to bring my own filter which I already purchased.

mobil 1 0w-30, advance fuel economy or racing my top choices and 5w-30 is recommended by Lexus.

Short answer: Use what your owner's manual says - 5W30.

^ yeah i mentioned 5w-30 is recommended by lexus...
