What was used? To be honest it looks horrible. Your ashtray is going a different way, your switches has flaps going down and can clearly see it. Other than that you have the right idea going. Fix those and you're golden.
I'm guessing the wrap going down into the switch recess was intentional. Nice effort and the craftsmanship look good, but I don't think it works well. The inconsistent wrap direction on the ashtray does look odd. Like iSuxeL stated, fix these issues and it looks good. Oh, and your steering wheel is on the wrong side.
wood is nasty, but i like the full silver cf kit. n btw, the ashtray goin diff ways bro, thats the only bad thing other than that it was a pretty solid install.
Sorry but that Sherwood CF looks like *** too. You can tell it's stuck on and it's just flat on the edges making it look super cheap. Do it right or don't do it at all
Thought you did a good job with it. Looking "Horrible" wouldn't be the word that I would've chosen. The weave patterns not matching looks a bit off but that could've been an easy fix. Hey you're the one sitting in your car, not any of us, if you can live with what you did, then fine. The door switches aren't that noticeable.
I've seen the weave going in an opposite direction on the ashtray on a lot of overlays. Could be a stylistic choice, but I prefer the same direction. I think I'd have the door panels slanted toward the car though, not all of them just going up and to the right.
I think the carbon fiber just isnt right for the isx50. Carbon fiber seems like it should be in a ricer car, not a luxury sports car, plus i find the really light carbon fiber is too bright and sticks out like a sore thumb.
Na man, that'll just make things worst! you've got a black foam-base below it and sanding it will just revile the foam more and more. Plus, there are HUGE gaps where you can see OEM gunmetal... looks like Sherwood's edges are way cleaner
