I have The OEM turanza er33 on my 350' and I really love them!! I have 23k on my 2008 and they still have 6/32 left! They are super quiet and ride amazing!

I'm comapring to my old 07' Is250 which had ther RE050's, those were SOO loud and were toast at 18K! I switched to Sumitomo's HTRZIII on my 250 and they were just ok..

I need a new set probably later this summer and really want good ones, so the search is on!

Got the OEM Bridgestones with 12.5k miles and they are about half gone. Sounds like 20k seems to be the average. I think these tires are decent, but the tramlining is extremely annoying on soft pavement when coming to a stop.

i love my hancooks v12 evo i wrapped my 19" rims with. They're really grippy, can't remember exactly but they cost under 1k mounted. i'm pretty sure ps2's cost around 1k in 19" really would recommend the hancooks.

i too recommend the hankooks. however theres someone on the mb forums i visited who said the hankooks become very lousy near the end of their life. since the tires are relatively new, i havent been able to decide how hankooks behave after many miles

I'm sure you can do it if you wanted. But there's no real point, unless you like wasting gas and money or both.

Here are pics of my front right tire, the left one looks very similar. From the looks of it, I think I need new tires...what do you all think?

These are the 3 tires that I'm considering
1. Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport (Ultra High Performance Summer)
2.Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 (Max Performance Summer)
3. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus (Ultra High Performance All-Season)

....which one would you all get? Price, performance, ride quality are my priorities. Does any one have the Hankooks on their IS350? If so, did you previously have the stock Bridgestones? Can you comment on the tire quality?

oh yeah yours are worn out. i guess 2/32 left? I'd get Hankook. I think car and driver rated Hankook very high just below Michelin ps2.

I am in need of some new tires too. My front tires are gone (Potenza re050), but my back tires (potenza re760 sport) are good. Is it a bad idea to have two different brands on the same car?

Not even close yet. When the wear bars are even with the tread, they're worn out. You're a long way from that now.

so i have made my mind up. from my research on this forum, i have come to the conclusion that the brigestones are noisy. from my on personal experience my front potenza are in bad shape. i can see part of the tire coming through the the rubber and more noise is coming from the front than the rear. my rear potenzas are less than a year old have have about 12K miles on them. they still have some good thread and i just do not want to throw them away. also from the research on here, it seems as if michellins (pilot a/s) is a better tire and less noisy. so i think i will roll with the michellins on front and bridgestone on back. what do you think about that setup?
