ok guys i need a little encouragement

I'm a diy kinda guy and was wondering if it's still possible to work on the lexus or is it one of those cars you let the dealer do all the maintenance? This will be my dd

Depends what you mean by "work on"

but if you mean scheduled maintenance, there's very little to do at all, and all of it pretty easily done yourself if you've done this kinda stuff before.

Specifically-

Every 5k- Oil change (and honestly, this is way too often, but that's what the book says)

Every 15k- check ac and engine air filters

Every 30k- Change brake fluid and the ac and engine air filters

Every 60k- Change spark plugs

Every 100k- Change coolant.

That's it
