the 250 isnt a slow car at all and is an excellent choice if you dont need the extra power under the hood. I test drove the 250 before a 350 and was ready to buy, until i got behind the wheel of a 350 and decided the power was worth more (to me) than the gfx and nav on the 250 i was looking at.

Looking at an 06 350 with 51k miles, navi, premium package. Also is CPO and covered for 3 yrs or 100k for $23,995. Should I keep looking or does this seem like a good deal?

i drive a 250...and my friend drives a 350 and of course if u have the funds go with the 350 for the hp...but then u might as well go for the IS-F!
250's got better gas mileage and still has good power. depends on ur type of commute and the way u daily drive it.

how i chose my 250 awd
ive had rwd cars fo the past 3-4 years and need soemthing more realiable during the winter season, a s2k to drive in the summer that was modded so that was my so caled power car. bbut since then ive sold the s2k after about a year of owning my 250 and dont regret it not getting a is30 at all, i plan on hoping into something powerful soon anyways.
my 250 is great in the snow and love it, still looks good and this year im actually gettin off my lazy butt and puttin my mods on so it'll look even better.
plush i drive real slow anyways.

I have an 08 250 AWD. I would of bought the 350 but since I live in NY and get snow, I decided to get the AWD. I have moved closer to NYC since purchasing the car (was farther upstate), and depending on how much it snows over the rest of my loan (3 years, that'll give me a good gauge of what the weather is like down here), I will consider getting a 350. I am in a position where I can work from home depending on if the weather is a problem. As such, I could probably deal with a RWD car even in the winter since I have a choice to drive or not.
SO! To summarize what I'm saying and what I did:
If you have to drive through snow: get the AWD.
If you do not have to drive through snow: get the 350!!! zoom!

I chose the 350 because the 250 didn't really have that much more power than the car I came out of. Obviously, there's a lot of things you should take into consideration when purchasing a car. If you're just going for looks, they look identical. Aside from the 250 badge and the bigger brakes up front, you really can't tell the difference. Fuel economy is another thing. I average about 24-26 mpg, 70% highway (rush hour traffic) driving. I'm not sure how much better the 250 does. Also, if you want a stick, you'll be limited to a 250. Either way, you can't go wrong IMO.
