Default Ebay Clear Bra

I decided to give this a shot since it was so cheap. It seemed promising on arrival since it covered not only the hood and fenders, but also the bumper, mirrors and even the mirror bases. Unfortunately the kit was impossible to install. I've successfully installed 2 kits before, and the hood on the IS is by no means the most challenging. The material was quite stiff and unforgiving. It wanted to irreversibly crease and even a heat gun would not remove the flaws. The pattern itself was not accurate and I ended up removing the film and threw away the remainder of the kit. So thumbs down from me, I guess you get what you pay for.

I purchased a clear bra off of Ebay for my 2IS. I can't remember the name of the vendor off hand, but it was made of 3M film. It's been on the car for about 5 years now and it's still going strong. How much did you pay for this kit anyway? The one I picked up was about $150-$200 I think.

$24 plus shipping ($12). I guess, I should have known.

For a clear bra that's gonna cover everything you mentioned in your original thread for $24, that definitely would fall into the "you get what you paid for" category. I think I paid an extra $20-30 just for the pre-cut film to cover the headlights and fogs (as this wasn't part of the kit).
