The front fender is soft metal and it could be easy to show wave look...

I saw the welds... kept on grinding. LOL No problems with anything coming apart here. I'm sure a few of them hellaflush ISx50 boys will pop in and say the same.

Forgot to mention, after reading this thread I went to the garage to work on it. 1 AM I finished and they are perfect! I did just the rears but its all good, the fronts will be done with the proper tool once I can locate one.

rolling has the chance of it catching the tire and mangling the fender though. im cut/partially rolled all around.

Anyone know exactly where the weld spots are in the rears? I wanna avoid shaving too much before it's too late. If there are enough spots welded where I feel comfortable the metal sheets won't seperate, then I'll shave some more.

It won't. I'm pretty sure the GS and IS welds are not too different.

Just went downstairs and checked how much lip I have left. Its 1/4" when I measure right against the quarter panel prior to it making the bend inwards. Feels solid, I could shave more but it should be fine.

Not another roll or shave thread LOL

Shave/cut them, that's it.

Buy a hand dremel and use that cause it's much easier to control

BTW, I used a grinder to do my rears. The fronts I have a fender roller and will be doing it soon when I have the heat gun and time.
