Default Plug and play HIDs for fogs

has anyone tried ordering a 9006 hid kit and replacing the bulbs in the fogs? ive seen the projector fog retro, which looks sick, but i dont have the time to do all that.

Ill be ordering an HID kit soon and thought i could save a little on shipping if i get both at once.

I say go with 6000K as well. There's a pretty big difference between the light output of the 6000K and 8000K. I also got mine from HIDExtra. They're not the greatest, but you can't beat them for the price.

Same here. Support the CL vendors. If it's any consolation, I was one of those that had the "one side doesn't light up" HID kits. I replaced it with an HIDExtra kit and haven't had the problem since. To top that off, the HIDExtra kit was half the price!!!

I have used several DDMTuning kits with absolutely no problems, and currently have four of their ballasts running on my vehicle.

I do not recommend going over 6k for low beam. The extra strain on your eyes due to the blue color can make even a short drive painful. Not to mention the added glare to other drivers, as well as the reduced output.

yea i think im pretty set on the 6K's now....thanks for the advice...i took a look @ HIDextra and it seems they give free shipping for orders over $50, so that takes care of my additional shipping expenditures..DDMtuning kits are $38? mann, i still remember paying $300 for a kit on a prelude...

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...in-fogs-3.html

Here are my fog done from DDM tuning and can't complain at all! Very easy and the people on the phone know whats up.

I got them a week ago for the Slimline ballast and it was 35 bucks 46.53 at the door but it looks like they raised the prise 5 bucks.

Hey guys,

Quick questions, when I turn on my high beam... my HID fogs turn off. Is this normal? I never noticed this before since my normal halogen fogs are quite dim.
