I have sport pedals. My advisor said they are not cutting the old pedal. They have a revised sport pedal. Brake override is also part of the remedy. I want to see the pedal before it is installed. As long as it looks similar (it will be shorter) I will have it done.

Tomorrow I will set up the appointment.

It should all be done together as part of the "campaign".

It's my car, not theirs. They ain't "required" do to anything I don't authorize them to do.

I'll be refusing this recall entirely since I know how to use floor mats correctly.

The brake override is just an extra precaution against the accelerator getting stuck if you improperly equip the wrong type of floor mat.

If you have a stuck accelerator, you can simply brake and you'll be good.

Sometimes I hate...hate sue happy america with their frivolous law suits. They are indirectly affecting my experience.

I guess it's too little too late for me to say "no" to these "remedies" since I'm sure they are already done applying them to my car (I pick it up tomorrow morning, god I can't wait to get back in the IS350, the HS250H was killing me not gonna lie)

They wanted to take my mat out and I told them to leave it in. If it's anchored correctly, there's no issue. As far as a new pedal, I'll have to inspect it first before okaying the work. I don't want some retarded set-up thanks to a couple of other custom jobs that lead to catastrophe.
