Default Farewell

Well I'm officially without a car. Sold the 350 a couple weeks back. Signed the title over today.

I got a fair price, and the buyer got a great deal!

Just couldn't afford to keep making payments on it with my little girl needing to be sent to preschool, and the job market not being so great.

I'm currently driving my father in laws 2001 Dodge Durango, with 160k miles. It's free for me for now. Just have to get it signed over to me, and insure it. It is a total POS. At least I'm getting 18mpg in it.

I'm likely going to get into maybe a Volvo V50 sport wagon, or a Mazda CX7 or an S60 if I want to go sedan route again. Some good deal to be had out there.

It's been fun!

Later all.

Glad to hear you're making your daughter and family come first. The prices on schools and education are at times extreme. But I guess an education is priceless.

I know it must be hard to give up the IS, but it's probably best in the long run. You never know you might be crusing in something better not far far in the future. Hope your little girl enjoys pre-school. Good luck.

the start of a baby's education....enjoy these times man! they grow up way too fast, especially when i see those school pics and comparing them to the previous years. the CX-7 would seem like a good all around fit, especially useful for weekend getaways or mini trips. best of luck!

Toyota has that 5 year with no interests special still going on right? If it's still on, Toyota would be good!
