350 for a week...love it. Also, Valentine 1 Hardwire?
350...despite the warnings from the dealer that it would absolutely suck in the snow, I told him I would be long gone from New England by that time. At least, in theory.
Considering I've lived in eastern Massachusetts since starting college in 2003 (and managed to secretly retain out of state residence for all 7 of those years), then grad school, which I will be finishing this coming December, I think I've seen all that Massachusetts has to offer. That + car that sucks in the snow = a great excuse to move south!
Long story short, I love it. I got a Valentine 1 to replace my Escort, plus a hardwire "kit" for powered mirrors. When I picked the car up last week, I asked the dealer if they could do it for me (The part hadn't come in yet) since I had no desire to start taking my car apart with all of 4 miles on the odometer. He said yes, simple, and 60 bucks.
In an effort to save the 60 bucks - anyone done this before? I'll take a picture of the wire I got. Also, more pictures of the car in all its newness, as promised from my last post.

I have no complaints though, it saved me from countless other secret Mass Pike attacks. The rest of my family has Valentine 1 detectors and I got used to the added feature of telling me which direction the radar was coming from, so I made the switch.

Nice car!
Just an FYI in case you don't get down south fast enough, your dealer (as most are) is full of crap. Put good snow tires (not all seasons) on the car and it'll be just fine in the snow. There's a number of 350 owners in heavy snow areas (northeast US, Chicago, Canada, etc) that have no issues on snows.

Throw a set of good winter tires on it and your car will go anywhere in the snow. I have a M/T is250 RWD with winter tires and gets me to work everyday through the worst of snow storms.
