I did a search, and it seems most have the problem when the sunroof is tilted. However, mine rattles (clickety-clickety) when the roof is all the way open and NOT in the tilt position. The rattles goes away when the roof is closed. I've touched my hand on the roof shade while the sunroof was opened, and it didn't seem to help.
Any clues?

Yep, mine also rattles when it tilted. Brought it into the dealer to get it fix back in early 06, but they said they could not get it to reproduce so I just lived it for a little more than 4 years now. Did any of you guys ever got the dealer to fix the rattle when the moon roof is tilted?

about the 'rattle': i dunno...
about the 'squeaking': take the vaseline from your bedside and go out to your car, tilt the roof up and put some on your finger then run it on the sides of the rubber that touch the part of the roof 'when closed', then open the sunroof half way and do the front side. now close the sunroof, repeat this procedure when the squeaks come back.

I noticed the same rattle today when it was open. I have no rattle when titled open. I too stuck my hand up there in every way possible but it didn't seem to help. Let me know if you figure it out.
