starfire pearl is still the best...it can be filthy close up but still appear clean far away. but between red and black...get the black. if you plan on keeping the car, stretch for the 350.. lease...go with your budget.

Careful with the red exterior. That color is very easy to spot and recognize if you accidently cut someone off or a cop sees you roll through a stop sign a half of block away. As nice as it looks all clean and waxed up, it can have some negatives too.

in chicago a new is350 would be priced at 41+ with no navi, my is250 was priced at 36k no navi, with was about the same price as 350 w/ out navi...so with navi ima assume sticker price to be around 45 give or take...get starfire pearl with black interior

You will want black interior. You will regret it if you get a light colored interior

The invoice price difference between a 250 and 350 is $3850

If you're paying any more of a difference than that you're doing it wrong.

(and if you pay any attention at all to sticker price you're really doing it wrong)

my system shows it can be ordered with a black interior (but it forces me to choose one of two luxury packages for the 250 hate package restrictions)

Are you looking via the "build your own" on lexus.com?

If so, don't use that.

All it's really doing is showing you the configurations commonly shipped to your local dealers... not what is possible to actually order.

But I'm also impatient, I will lose my mind if I have to wait for 2-3 months.

^^ lol I have to wait 2-3 months for every car I get. When you work for TMS, all your cars are special order hahaha (but on the flip side, you always get what you want then! )

only get black if you know how to 'detail' a car and because you know how to wash n wax doesn't mean you know how to 'detail' a car...
