yes it fits perfectly into that spot. but it isnt a direct fit. the holes and pins dont match up and the emblem is bigger and wider. I snapped off the pins/tabs from the new emblem and just stuck it on.
And it fits really nice and flush into the curve of the gfx boot-lid spoiler. the stock emblem has a gap between the gfx spoiler and the emblem but i made this new emblem sit flush against the curve and it looks good.
