Some amazing work from Bing, as usual! So clean...

For those of you interested, he posts a lot on diymobileaudio.com, under "build logs". Just look for username "simplicityinsound"

Here's a link to a recent install he did on a '60 Impala SS. Sick ride...
http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/...-ss-build.html

Can't wait until he works his magic on my IS-F, in the upcoming months! We'll be using an Audison bit one to integrate with the stock Nav/ML system.

Yeah, you'd probably be better off with a side enclosure then. Losing the passasn't a big loss for me though.

I supplied the amp, bass control ****, and iPod integration unit (Vaistech SL2i-UP), my installer took care of everything else. No way I could do this by myself. Not sure what the forum rules are, but PM me for a ballpark figure on cost.

Ahhh, so you must be the IS-F he was talking about. Can't wait to see what he does with your car.

I must say the work Bing did on your car looks amazing. Those three 8's must hit pretty hard. I'm just going with one 12.

I kept wavering between a simple sub install (less elaborate than yours) or a bigger install, adding components in the front (2-way, bi-amped).

Looking forward to hearing your system at a meet some time.

Enjoy!

Yes, the output is great. When maxed out, there's enough bass to rattle my license plate and the license plates of the cars in my immediate vicinity. The bass is still clean though (sealed box) and there are almost no rattles inside the cabin (much to my surprise).

It's funny, I wanted to go with a single 12 as well (JL 12w6v2) but changed the plan after I dropped my car off. What's your plan?

I'll be at the YBHS meet showing my car for the first time on 5/8: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nor...ol-sports.html. If you, or anyone else in NorCal, wants to check this out in person, just PM me.

Woot, looks like there is another happy customer with Bing's work.
Always unique, clean and stealthy.
