Default 27.7 Mpg

Just back from a 160 mile trip.

IS350 Tank Average for the trip was 27.7 per the on-board computer.

I used the cruise control set at about 65.

I also took a trip of about 180 miles and averaged 29.9 MPG but that was going around 55 miles per hour and that made the trip somewhat uncomfortable. 65 miles per hour/27.7 is fine for me.

I also took the same 160 mile trip averaging around 80 miles per hour and the miles per gallon went down to around 22/23.

What's your "Best Mileage"?

Stop hating. Cars are identical other than the engine. I can't tell the difference without looking at the badge. Some people have different needs. ISX50 FTW!

I want to hear you say that when we line up at a light...yeah, they're the same alright...like the same as an IS-F and an IS350.

This says it all:

The IS350 even at 80 mph will pull down over 30 mpg. I've done it many times. Cruise is your friend. So is 3 psi over recommended tire pressure.

55-60mph not with cruise control. the hills really kill the gas economy but only downshifted 3 times to 5th gear on highway for the 78 mi journey back to school. mostly rt 287 and 78 driving for your northeastern-ers. rarely went over 2000 rpm in an IS250 AWD. this is some serious clutch material

Smoky when you said "250 ftl", it was very ambiguous. I've seen your other posts hating on the 250 so I assumed you were doing it again. Yes I don't own a 250 and I do own a 350. I just hate it when people do that. It's like on the Bimmer boards that used to do the same to those with 325 vs 330. Come on now we are all family here, the Lexus family. I apologize if I misunderstood

Anyways back on topic, IS350 I get about 25 MPG mixed driving
