I finally got a set of ISF wheels thanks to hblexus07. I wanted to share a couple things for future potential buyers worried about IS350 front caliper clearance. I tested it at a local shop and the MINIMUM clearance is 8mm, but if there is any play what so ever, it will hit the caliper. I decided to go with the 15mm Ichiba V2's, for the convenience of not having to redo the studs if i ever decide to install ISF calipers for clearance. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Sorry about the crappy pictures, it was getting dark and iPhone sucks during this time of day. I'll hopefully get additional shots later. Possibly additional pictures with 10mm clearance. I'm still trying to decide if I want to go down to 10mm. At 15mm it's perfectly flush.

8mm is fine, I've seen <6mm on some cars from the factory. There is no play in brake calipers, they're bolted tight. If they loosen up enough to give you a problem at 8mm of clearance, theyre gonna give you a problem anyway because they're going to eventually fall off completely. In essence, there can be 2mm of clearance. How much clearance do you think high compression interference motors have between pistons and valves? Its not inches, I promise

I'm not sure what you are talking about, but 6mm spacers will NOT work with ISF Wheels + IS350 Front Calipers. I'm sure OTHER cars have run 6mm or less, but this thread is specifically about ISF Wheels + IS350 Front Calipers on a Lexus ISx50. At 8mm, it was approximately 1mm away from touching the caliper face. Also, I understand that calipers may not have any play but when metal gets hot, they tend to expand. I highly recommend against using any lower than 8mm with this setup. The wheel shop that was test fitting the spacers were recommending 10mm MINIMUM for safety precautions.

Currently I have 15mm spacers only in the front. I'm trying to decide either to get ISF/Brembo front calipers and remove the front spacers, OR add 15mm spacers to the rear.

You're right that 8mm is more than enough clearance, but there is absolutely play in brake calipers. Opposed piston calipers, when the brakes are engaged, push outward away from the disc, ever so slightly - sometimes as much as one or two millimeters. Stand outside of any IS-F and watch the caliper while a friend pumps the brakes. This is why every brake manufacturer in the world specifies AT LEAST 2mm of clearance between the caliper and the wheel for their brake kit.
