x pack is good if you dont want to mod because you get better wheels and the front lip. you only lose out on a couple options which i find to be pretty worthless anyways. i wouldnt really care either way though...id get what was available in the color i wanted.

Ok here is what is going on. Im most likely going to pick up the X-package.
It Doesnt Include HID's though.
It has memory/cooled seats though. and everything else it includes,the color is SGM with white leather and black carpet, wood grain. navigation, pretty nice. I dont need memory seats.
But my question is can u buy Rain Sensing wipers??
Also do the mirrors fold on they're own, the side mirrors like when u have it on park?? and does it have headlight washers?

No way to add the OEM rain sensing wipers that I'm aware of either...and the mirrors don't auto-fold in any package on US models (but they auto-tilt in reverse as well as auto dim if you have the sport or luxury packages only)

Hello members,
Interested in knowing what is included in the "X Package with Sport Tuned Suspension" (2008 IS 350). Are the F-sport bars installed (28.6 mm front and 19 mm rear with 75 durameter rubber bushings), compared to base model with 27mm front and 15mm rear sway bars, and F-Sport Lowering springs (Lowers the vehicle approximately one inch in both front and rear with linear spring rate in front & progressive spring rate in rear)???
Thank you in advance for any additional information.

Gville350, thank you for follow up and confirming that the F-Sport sway bars and springs would not have been installed on IS 350 with X Package Sport Tuned suspension.
To confirm, would the X Package with Sport Tuned Suspension have 27mm front and 15mm rear sway bars, and perhaps revised rates for both shocks and springs which lower the vehicle an inch more compared to vehicle without the X Package. The F-sport springs I believe would lower vehicle an additional .5 inches over the sport package, and offer about 10% firmer shocks than X Package, but unable to confirm sprng / shock rates for the X Sport application.

Thanks Gville350. So you have the "Performance Luxury Plus Package", which included Sport suspension along some nice options. Appears the years after got less per package.

The XE - 'X' Package option, included Sport Tuned Suspension. I was interested in knowing what the specs were for that (previously stated what I think was the suspension difference between vehicle with the XE Package and one without). Unsure however.

Agreed! Obtaining technical specifications (suspension etc.), from manufacturer can be challenging. Bellieve physically measureing diameter of currently installed stabilizer bars, may be only way to confirm diameter of sway bars.Thought perhaps another option to confirm specs, wold be to comparing part numbers however,part numbers don't include specs as well (diameter, spring / shock rate etc.).
For example, the following shocks / struts and stabilizer bar, are for 08 IS 350 with Sport Tuned Suspension and non-AWD (also included AWD part numbers at end of list);
48520-59285 - front left strut, 2008 IS350 W/O AWD; W/SPORT PACKAGE
48510-80257 - front right strut, 2008 IS350 W/O AWD; W/O SPORT PACKAGE; W/SPORT PACKAGE
48530-80458 - rear shock / strut, 2008 IS F, IS 350 W/SPORT SUSPENSION and 19' WHEELS (thought Sport Tuned Suspension only included 18". Guess one could get 19" as an option).
48811-53040 - front stabilizer bar, 2008 IS 350 base non AWD
48812-53030 - rear stabilizer bar, 2008 IS 350 with Sport Tuned suspension, non AWD
48811-30650 - front stabilizer bar, 2008 IS 350 base, AWD
48812-53040 - rear stabilizer bar 2008 IS 350 base, AWD

Interested in upgrading ride height / springs (08 350 base), and would like to confirm ride height difference of springs from the following packages, if installed;
- ST Sport Package with Sport tuned Suspension and Lower ride height - springs would only lower front by 0.4 inches but rear would remain the same height as base (rear is same part number as base model)
- XE X Package with Sport Tuned Suspension (same as suspension included with ST Package) ?
- FK F Sport Package with F-Sport Suspension (unsure if available as option in 2008)
- F-Sport Package F-Sport Suspension and EPS / Electric Power Steering (unsure if available as option in 2008)
- F-Sport Lowering spring kit PTR0753090 (Lowers the vehicle approximately one inch in both front and rear/ different spring rates than Sport & X Package equipped vehicles)
48131-53171 - front coil spring / without AWD / with sport suspension
48131-53221 - front coil spring / without AWD / without sport suspension (installed on base model?)
48231-53151 - Rear springs Without AWD / With sport package.
