In addition to the wheels you get the sport suspension (firmer shocks and springs), sport pedals, a front lip, and the illuminated door sills.

It's also the only way a US market ISx50 was available without a sunroof... X package cars could be ordered with or without a sun roof.(which is a shame, I'd have loved to get my sport package 350 without a sun roof). X package cars were also only available in a few specific color combinations.

It doesn't include most of the "luxury" type features that come in the sport or luxury packages (ie no heated/cooled memory seats, no rain-sensing wipers, no auto dim/tilt side mirrors, etc)... also doesn't include HIDs but those were available as a stand-alone option too so you may or may not have em on that car.

I wanted to get the X-Package because I liked the wheels and illuminated sills but yes, it doesn't have a lot of the other luxury features.

I'm assuming your looking for a used IS, but if you want one new I don't think they make them new anymore. When Lexus.com was updated for the 2010 IS, they removed the X-Package from the options page so it doesn't appear to be available as new any longer.

It depends on what other pkg were included with X-Pack car. My car came with Premium pkg and HID along with X-Pack and wood trim. It's a step below Sports pkg and Luxury pkg.

hey dajon. everyone is correct about the x-package specs. if i could do it all over again, i would go for the sports of luxury package. they come with options that can not be easily added on.

You can add the wheels, light up door sills, front gfx lip to a sports or lux packaged car pretty easily. but u cant add the auto til side mirrors, memory seats, n the tilting steering wheel to an x-package (the extra options I would like). Other options like headlight wipers, rear sunshade, and collison sensors are whatevers, but if u want those, u have a better chance in a used sports or lux package IS 350

IMO, the Xpac wheels are some of the best-looking OEM Lexus wheels, assuming you are not going aftermarket.

Isn't the X-pkg relatively rare compared to Sport or Lux packages?

Correct. Memory seats and auto-tilt mirrors come only with the Sport package or Luxury package.

Around here the sport package is extremely, extremely rare. Mine is the only one my dealer has ever seen and it was special order.

Meanwhile they have X pack loaners.

Overall though, according to the gas pedal recall, only 3% of all 2ISes have sport pedals (which means sport package or X package) so both are highly rare compared to Luxury package.

No, many cars have none of those...I was just answering the question about X/Sport compared to Lux.

The simple spotters guide: (assuming the car is unmodified, as most of the obvious X-pack stuff can be added easily)

If it has memory seats and woodgrain it's luxury

If it has memory seats without woodgrain it's sport

If it has the 5-spoke wheels and sport pedals it's X

If it has woodgrain without memory seats it's premium

If it has no woodgrain and no sport pedals it's base model.
