at first i had the ER33 which came with the car and they lasted me about 21k miles.
the fronts were almost gone. the backs still needed to be changed, idk exactly how much was left on them but not more than 500 miles worth.

As far as tire suggestion, I am running w/ michelin Pilot sport A/S (about $230 front and 250 rear at costco w/ the road hazardous warranty). Great tire w/ nice traction and high tread rating (more than 400).
I may be tempted to try the hankook V12 next time, but it will take a while since I just got these michelin ps a/s a few months ago.

I first heard about the Hankook V12s from Knightshade on my.is in the All Season Vs. Summer Tire Debate thread. I'm looking forward to trying out these tires next year after I've finished killing off my current stock (IIRC) Bridgestone Turanza ER33 tires over the summer (I'm currently at around 24k miles in the car, but did have winters on for a few thousand of them. The summers were put back on a month or so ago).
However, for next Spring, I was looking forward to getting some 19" IS-F rims because I love the way they look (Hoping to be able to get them for under $1k by then). Anyone know if these tires would be available for those rims. Any thoughts on how my drive would my drive change? would I lose/gain anything in going w/ the bigger rims? when I posed this question on my.is, Knightshade replied said the 19s will likely be lower profile tires, so rougher ride, less protection for the rims, probably more expensive for the tires too.

Same Here,
The Cont DWS will run you about $150 for the fronts, and they have a rating of 540AA (50K warranty). Rides great, handles well in rain, quiet, and is holding up real well.

Whatever you do, don't buy cheap tires that suck and have a terrible ride or are made in China and explode, just to save a little money.
There are plenty of good tires with high treadwear ratings out there. I just got Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus tires that have a 45,000 mile warranty and they're the best tires I've ever had.
Spending more initially on better tires will save you money and headaches in the long run.
