Just tried to install my HID kit from XD today (5000K H11 for 2010 IS250). I triple check all connections but the thing just wont turn-on. I also noticed that the kit XD shipped to me has separate ignitor and ballast. You guys have this for IS250?

Hello,

I am assuming that you are not using a relay harness meaning that polarity would most likley need to be reversed on the connector that plugs into your OEM wiring. Our kits have always had a separate igniter and ballast.

Oh ok..Its just that I had a HID kit purchased for my 2008 Accord 2DR and there was no separate igniter. Look like that kit I got is car specific.

I first tried turning the light on without the relay harness(direct plug-in), but it also wont turn-on.

2nd time I tried using a relay harness. I get the same result. Can you give me instruction how to reverse the polarity? (email me at eedwin92@gmail.com)

I have the OEM bulbs back on and if you respond I can try the procedure this weekend.

Cant wait 'til the weekend. I reversed the connector polarity last night, and installed the kit this morning. Im happy to see the kit turn-on for first time. First mod is done!
