acorn shaped lugs will work, dont need to be open ended, but yes those work

My friend's CLS, he got his wheels last week with stock lug nuts, it fits. Should he change his lug nuts?

please everyone its not 'acorn', the correct term is 'cone seat', most aftermarket rims require a cone seat type lug.

If I'm not mistaken any lug that is 12x1.5 will work.

some rims have a conical base on the lug nut area... and those that have narrower opening... needs a new set of lugs... especially when our OEM lugs are wide...
