Sup CL, I recently (Today) got my roof and roof spoiler painted black, my emblems painted black, and my grill painted black as well. The reason im doing this is because i wanted everything to flow with my rims since i went black on black with them. I also have a wald kit that should be on any minute now, that has black accent marks.
I am happy with everything that got painted. SonicMS'S body shop did an outstanding job!. ...The only iffy thing that im not sure if i like is the Grill surround. It looks really aggressive and at times i like it, but im not 100% sure. Debating if i should just keep it and get used to it, have it repainted to match the car (tungsten Pearl), or buy a new chrome oem surround from Lexus.
I stopped by Lexus of Stevens creek to see there Limited edition F- Sport isc. Alot of the workers there ended up looking at my car and i got an interview / video shoot thats going to be posted on there blog. They all loved the custom paint that SonicMS did. So i have mixed feelings.
Can anyone Please chime in? All comments are welcome, i wont cry
PS : SORRY! its so hard to capture black! Pictures really dont give the car justice...
Its definitely a new look, but its starting to grow on me. People actually gave me some compliments when i went to starbucks today.

i have the grille surround in TP to match my car. I was going to go black like u, but it was too aggressive for my taste. I think u should leave it as it is the way you have it. flows well as is the way u have it set up.

All those mods including a soon to be wald kit and you still haven't gotten red outs? Car looks sick, i vote leave it. But please please get red outs!
What's your address? I'll even buy them and send them to you if I have too!!

I think your car looks real clean bro, leave it. I do agree with others on here though about going back to a chrome emblem. I did a quick photoshop for you per your request. IMO, I like it chrome

I think chrome, but you know what...I keep looking at it and I think Black works too especially with the black emblems in the back. Maybe keep it black to keep your style consistent through out the car? Usually when I'm up in the air about something, I tend to leave it for a while then make any changes later so I don't make to quick of a decision.

The roof looks good Josh! Can you PM what you paid for all the painting? I think I might want to rip my vinyl off and have it painted just so it looks perfect.
As for the grill surround... I'm torn. Something about those sharp angles at the bottom turn me off. I would definitely leave it for a while and see if it grows on you. Personally, I'd color-match the grille and front emblem.
PS: Glad to hear you're waiting until the end of summer for coils. I can enjoy having one mod you don't for at least a few months.
