Default Odd "popping" sound

So within the last week, I noticed a rather odd popping/crunching noise coming from my right rear tire/wheel. It's most noticeable when I get to my driveway. I also hear it when I hit a bump and or am driving on a rough surface.

I spent the morning taking off the wheel, and examining both the tire (for punctures, nails etc...) and the wheel well. I'm no expert, but nothing out of the ordinary that I saw.

Any suggestions on what it could be??!?! Thanks

Maybe your coils on the rear?

sounds like maybe a spring moving under weight and/or maybe something binding after you put coilovers on. I would check everything support/suspension side just to see if you notice anything out of the ordinary

Thanks for the ideas guys. I'm really hoping its not the coil, but who knows probably. I've had the coils since January, so nearly 5 months. I wonder what factor could have changed to make it start making noises

Check this thread Jared, not sure if it's the same issue you're having: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...lastnight.html

I sure hope I don't fall victim to that problem, my BC's arrived just yesterday.

I have the same problem, but it usually occur during cold weather. I checked my preload for BC and it seems to be fine.

^^^ You know I had "creaking" back in Jan/Feb, and I figured that was cold weather reasoning. But that ceased, and this just started. I'll check preload tho just to be sure

I just got back home, and there's all sorts of popping noises getting worse and worse. I'm afraid it could be the endlinks. Has anyone had to replace their stock endlinks with aftermarket ones to compliment aftermarket suspension??? Also if anyone know the website/ good brand of aftermarket endlinks for the IS350 please

the last two times I had that problem, both came from my calipers.
both of my rear calipers broke within 3 month of each other.
but that was more of a metal clunking sound.

mine does the same thing. I plan on checking the end links this weekend. It only happens when I pull into my driveway and over bumps where the frame flex's!
