That's the same thing I was thinking!!! 
Even other IS owners can be douchebags... I park next to a black 1st gen IS all the time at the gym, I have no idea who owns the car but I park next to it just because we have identical cars... But I began to notice him/her parking away from the general area where he usually parks... It's kind of like he doesn't want me to park next to his car... So I got the hint, I'm not going to park next to him anymore because he could turn out to be a dbag and do something to my car....

I actually do just the opposite of you. I make it a point not to park directly next to other 2IS or 1IS out of respect. The closest I will get is I'll park with one full empty parking space between us, again out of mutual respect.

Yeah I am at the point when someone ask what car I drive I just say IS250. Most that don't know cars respond with "What's that?" I say just a 4 door family car.

for real everytime i say the word lexus they go wowwww and think i am a cocky **** head that thinks he is the **** when i am no where near that. so from now on its an is350. what is that its a 4 door family car. lol

lol a month ago someone stole my windshield wiper blades... lol i can't wait to see the look of the thief's face when he tries using it. i have never replaced my blades and it smeers everything on the windshield while using it.

Gawd... things like this **** me off. I remember when I was studying for my GMAT exam in a library. And some stupid high school student thought he/she was cool to write his/her name on my hood. The ******r keyed "suzie" on my hood.
But that was with my Honda Civic. If it happened to my car now...hell, I'll post a bounty on that retard.
I really wanted to murder that person so bad. I never done anything to **** that retard off because I was there when the parking lot was empty (school was still in session).

2 months ago, someone either keyed my bumper, or a shopping cart hit in of some sort. was like a foot long, went though clear coat to one of the inner layers, i had to sand it down and apply clear coat and re-sand, now its almost invisible (:

All I have to say is....
haha seriously though, there's nothing that can be done to prevent it... I had ketchup smeared all over my carbon fiber hood on my integra back in college when I was parked at an In N Out...I pulled out the detailer and wiped it off before it dried on there and walked away just like that ^^ (see above) hahaha Haters gonna hate!
