Default Please help, will RE30s fit my car?

Hi all, I'm looking at putting on a set of Volk Racing RE30 which are 18 x 8.5 all around on my 2009 IS250 AWD. The volk wheels offset is +47 all the way around.

Tire Rack advised that they may possibly rub on the front inside suspension but cannot guarantee if they will or not.

Can anyone out there that is a guru and knows the actual measurements for clearance let me know if these wheels will fit my application please?

Thanks in advance!
Jay

depending on the size of your tire. if you're running like 225/35 or 235/35 with a moderate drop you should be fine i'd say. 8.5 +47 is pretty damn sunken in

Even with a 235/35 I don't think you'll rub, a +47 is pretty high.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll be running 225/40/18 which is standard for my car.

When you say that 47 is pretty sunken, I'm a bit confused. I looked up the +47 offset on an offset calculator online and it stated that the wheel would extend 4mm further in the front and extend approximately 3mm in towards the suspension which made sense to me since I'm adding 1/5 inch in rim width over stock i.e. 8 inch vs 8.5 inch. Can you help me understand what you mean by sunken?

Also, I'm not lowering the car at all. It will be stock height.

Cheers
