Need IMMEDIATE Tire Advice!
HELP! My car is at the shop right now and they won't put my wheels on because the tire tread is too low and they'd be legally liable if something happened. So I need to pick a tire size in the next hour.
Wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. I have BC Racing Coilovers, thinking of a 1 finger gap all around drop, NO fender mods. I was thinking 235/35/19 and 275/30/19. Whatever is best, and closest to stock tire rolling diameterr. Was thinking Michelin PS2 or Hankook V12 for brand. THANK YOU!

I've heard the following suggestions and plugged in the total diameter from a tire calculator:
Stock:
225/40/18 - 25.1 in
255/40/18 - 26.0 in
Pocky:
235/35/19 - 25.5 in
275/30/19 - 25.5 in
phis250 & Sytfu_IS:
225/35/19 - 25.2 in
265/30/19 - 25.3 in
SD.is:
235/35/19 - 25.5 in
275/35/19 - 26.6 in
So 225/35/19 is really close - within .1 inches of the stock fronts. What about 255/35/19 - 26.0 in for the rears?
I just realized I didn't take into account wheel width... Not sure if these numbers mean anything.

I don't see too much of a different. I'm currently riding on 235/35/19 and 275/30/19.
Reason why because most people who ride really low need to get 225/35/19, or the width of the wheels. Since you have 1 inch gap you can get away with 235/35/19 and 275 in the rear.
As for some like myself, I will need to switch to 225 because its going to help me with less rubbing then the 235. i don't know if it makes any sense.

I don't think it will make that much of a difference. You should be fine. 225 235 is fine. I think you should worry about which brand of tires you want. Hankook is pretty good from all the reviews on cl. Jut compare the two different brand of tires and choose the best bang for the buck.
