Flashing AFS off after installing after market HID
First, my problem was my right headlight is turning off by it self after I start the engine. I went to a ExactMotor sports and they said it was the ballast problem and they recommend to install the aftermarket HID kit that comes w/ ballast. Reason for that is because the stock ballast is installed in the headlight assembly and the only fix is to replace the whole headlight assembly and that will cost me around $1500 per headlight. So I decided to get the HID kit on both side so that incase something happen with the ballast all I need to change is the ballast. The kit is only around $150 each. Then after they install it and start driving my car at night the AFS OFF start flashing.
Now, is there anybody out there had the same problem or is there any fix for this problem beside buying a 2 brand new headlight assembly? ExactMotor sports don't know what causing the AFS OFF flashing so I will not bring my car there ever again.

if your car is in warranty you can just go the Dealership and get it changed... on top of that... OEM Ballasts rarely do fail... try changing the bulbs and see whether they're faulty... getting a ballast at $150 each is itself a ripoff... xenondepot one of the best HID companies in the vendor section sells one less than that... naturally if you use a aftermarket HID kit.... the AFS would not work... so yeah... if you're still in warranty get it to the dealer right away... take out those aftermarket kits first though

Thanks for all of your reply.. I decided to bring it to the dealership co'z I don't want to waste my time on going back and fort to ExactMotor sport that does not know about AFS and they don't give free rental car...
Word of advice don't go to ExactMotor sport unless its a mechanical issue because they don't know much about electronic stuff inside your car.. Such a waste of time!!!
